Recipe Two: Marbled Milk Art
This is fun way to learn about colours, create a beautiful piece of art as well as use up extra milk! Plus, you will be rewarded with a colourful piece of paper that can be used to draw on or just hang up on the fridge to admire!
My favourite part of this experiment was seeing the pools of colour begin in blend when the soap was added in. I'll admit I was skeptical, but after adding in a few drops of dish soap I was excited to see what would happen next! Swirling around the cotton swab and watching the marbled effect begin was super fun, and I may actually try this again with different colours again soon.
Tip: Don’t let the colours get too mixed up or you’ll end up with a brown mixture!

You Will Need:
- A shallow baking sheet or dish
- 1-2 Cups of chosen dairy
- Dish soap
- Cotton swab
- Food colouring (more colours = more fun!)
Instructions:
- Pour the dairy into your shallow dish
- Put a drop of each colour your want to use in different areas of the dish
- Add a drop or two of dish soap
- Dip the cotton swab in a bit of dish soap
- Touch the cotton swab to one of the colours
- Swirl the cotton swab around to create a marbled or abstract effect
- Dip paper into mixture and let it dry completely
