Recipe One: DIY Milk Bath
Do you love taking baths? Well now is the time to try something a bit different! Milk baths have been popular since ancient times and have been known to promote skin health, reduce stress, and soothe and hydrate dry skin. Lactic acid is known to soften, hydrate and clean your skin while preventing dryness!
Adding in the optional ingredients listed below will aid in boosting the benefits of this recipe! I used olive oil, which moisturizes and fights bacteria. If you're struggling with a breakout, consider adding in some olive oil! Baking soda has many benefits for skin. It can aid in fighting skin infections, fights body odour and clear dead skin cells. Among those benefits, you may also find that it can add glow, mattifies and tightens pores. Finally, adding in epsom salts can further soothe your skin, reduce muscle soreness and reduce stress!
This recipe is endlessly customizable, I recommend doing some research on the benefits of different oils and personalize this recipe to your skin needs.
